What is Experimental Escape?

Our work is built around willing participants playing our games that are designed to test specific skills, such as problem solving, logical thinking, perception, communication and team work. The only physical challenge of our facility is that we are located on the second floor.

We invite you to try one of our rooms, with the challenge to complete the game in less than 60 minutes. The most competent teams who complete our games in under this time make it onto our leaderboard.

How many people can participate?

We recommend groups of 2-6 people but it is possible to book for groups of up to 18 people on our booking page across our 3 rooms. We recommend at least 2 players as our games are unlikely to be completed by 1 person.

How much is it?

Prices for adults 18+ is £24 per person for a group of 2, £20 person for groups of 3 or more. Kids 17 and under is £18 per person, all groups must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.

Is there an age limit?

We advise that you have to be 12+ to participate in our experiments due to some of the complex themes. All groups on under  8's need to be accompanied by a paying adult. We strictly require anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 in our rooms. We warmly welcome families with younger children but please contact us if you're unsure.

You are observed at all times by a Games Master and they will assist you if required. There is also a panic/door exit button for you to use in case of panic. However, this will void the game and no refund will be given.

Are the tests wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately we can’t accommodate for wheelchairs as our facility is on the top floor of the building.
